Question 1

How does your college discovery and counselling platform work?

Accepted Answer

We provide an unbiased, data-backed platform where students and parents can explore verified college fees, real average placement packages, admission cutoffs, and accreditation. You can search colleges, compare up to 4 institutes side-by-side, or schedule a free 1-on-1 session with an experienced education counselor.

Question 2

Are the fee structures and placement statistics verified?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our editorial and data verification team aggregates statistics directly from official NIRF public disclosures, university mandate documents, and audited annual placement reports. We deliberately emphasize median CTC rather than one-off international outliers.

Question 3

Is there any fee for student counselling?

Accepted Answer

No. Our initial college shortlisting, course profile assessment, and eligibility evaluations are 100% free of charge for students and parents.

Question 4

Can I get direct admission in B.Tech without JEE Main?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While IITs, NITs, and IIITs mandate JEE Main and JEE Advanced, many premier private universities (such as BITS, Manipal, VIT, Amity, and state-autonomous colleges) conduct their own aptitude tests or accept Class 12 board marks for specific merit seats.

Question 5

What is the difference between CS Core and CS with AI/ML specialization?

Accepted Answer

CS Core covers broad computer science foundations (operating systems, compilers, algorithms, networking). CS with AI/ML includes the core computer science syllabus in years 1-2, with advanced elective courses in neural networks, computer vision, natural language processing, and deep learning in years 3-4.

Question 6

Which entrance exams should I target for top MBA programs?

Accepted Answer

CAT is the primary national examination for IIMs, FMS, and top tier institutes. In addition, candidates frequently write XAT (for XLRI), SNAP (for Symbiosis institutes), and NMAT (for NMIMS).

Question 7

What is the minimum percentile required for IIM calls?

Accepted Answer

For General category non-engineers, competitive calls start around 97-98+ percentile. For General engineering males, calls for older IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta) typically require 99.5+ percentile.

Question 8

How should I compare two colleges?

Accepted Answer

Use our side-by-side comparison tool to evaluate NIRF rank, accreditation (NAAC/NBA), total tuition + hostel cost, median CTC, top recruiting brands, and location advantages.

Question 9

How can I book a session with a dedicated counselor?

Accepted Answer

Click on 'Get Free Counselling' in the header or visit our Counselling page to select your target stream, current academic scores, and preferred time slot.
